Once a shy, soft-spoken child, Bhawana is now a child leader in her village and advocate for child's rights - all of which was made possible because of her participation in child sponsorship! 

South Asia is home to about 33% of the world’s population who lives on less than USD$1.90 per day. In hopes to extend support to the most vulnerable children in South Asia, World Vision Singapore has actively implemented our child sponsorship programme in certain communities in these three countries - Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Growing up Lenny did not know for certain if she’d be able to graduate from school, let alone secure a position in the health sector. Today, she's on the frontline battling COVID-19 with the rest of her community.

As a sponsored child, Minas was also able to undergo World Vision’s holistically transformative and community-focused programme model, empowering her and children like her to various opportunities, tools and platforms that enabled them to experience the fullness of life despite their everyday struggles.
