Sri Lanka is facing its worst economic crisis since independence in 1948. A currency devaluation following a 70% drop in foreign exchange reserves resulted in a serious shortage of fuel, essential items, medicine, and soaring inflation.
Already, many children are not having all three meals a day and they are no longer able to have diversified food that can support their nutrition status. Many children are also no longer able to go to school as no transport is available due to the fuel crisis or they can no longer afford to go to school. The current situation is also expected to increase children’s experience with neglect, abuse, and domestic violence.
Your donations can help children in vulnerable communities in Sri Lanka have nutritious meals, school supplies, and transportation to school.

Step 1: To use your NS55 credits, ensure that you have downloaded the LifeSG app from App Store or Google Play before following the instructions below.
Step 2: Take a screenshot of our PayNow QR Code
Step 3: Open the LifeSG App and Login with your Singpass
Step 4: Scroll down to ‘Benefits and supports’, and tap View Details on the NS55 credits
Step 5: Tap Scan QR code to pay
Step 6: Tap upload image icon
Step 7: Select the PayNow QR code screenshot in your gallery
Step 8: Enter your donation amount
Step 9: Click Next. Slide to confirm payment, and you are done!
Step 10: If you would like to receive a receipt for your NS55 credits donation, please fill up the form here to provide your details for your PayNow payment. Should you be using your NS55 credits for the monthly payment of $45 for child sponsorship, please fill up the form here so that we can identify the corresponding Sponsored Child ID.
