June 2022 -  Thirty-three World Vision's Area Programmes, which directly support sponsored children and their communities, remain functioning with limitations imposed by current situation. Every week, our staff monitor the well-being of 67,395 children, gathering information through phone calls and/or direct communication with our community volunteers.

More than 150 youth in Singapore marked the start of their mid-year school holidays by fasting from food for 30 hours and completing educational experiential challenges that took them into the multiverse of vulnerable children bearing the brunt of global crises – conflict, climate change, and COVID-19 – at the first ever hybrid edition of 30 Hour Famine, which was held by World Vision Singapore from 27 to 29 May 2022.  

World Vision is deeply concerned about children who are the silent sufferers of the current socio-political and economic crisis in Sri Lanka, compounded by the aftershocks of the COVID-19 pandemic and a terrorist attack that has severely crippled the country.
