Clean Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for Every Child

More than 1,000 children still die each day due to diseases caused by unsafe water, sanitation and hygiene. Clean and safe water supplies reduce the time needed to collect water. This allows children to attend school and parents, particularly mothers, to have more time to generate income for their families. Safe, private toilets and handwashing facilities with soap keep children and families free from disease. World Vision works alongside communities to build water and sanitation systems in line with Sustainable Development Goal 6. We also train children and families in hygiene practices. Clean water is a basic necessity, not a luxury.

It's More Than Water. It's Life.
