Bangladesh - Income support for parent of child labourer

Often times parents have no choice but to send their children to work to support their meagre household income. Out of desperation to survive and access basic needs such as food, water and housing, parents are forced to withdraw their children from school, or at times do not even have the means to enroll them in the first place. Poverty and child labour create a vicious cycle of poverty that generations cannot escape from as they fall further behind. With training and support to boost their livelihood, parents can acquire skills to improve their prospects to better provide for their children and support their education.
