Drought and hunger are disproportionately affecting the children in East Africa. Children who are hungry cannot study effectively and are pulled from school to work. They sometimes face gender-based violence or are abused sexually for cash or food, or forced into early marriage. Fill the empty stomachs of school-going children with hot food and dry rations comprising cereals, pulses, vegetable oil and salt so that they can stay focused in class, continue schooling and stop fighting hunger pangs.
