Food Security Fund
One in nine people in the world are undernourished, with the highest incidence in Sub-Saharan Africa followed by Southeast Asia. Climate change and unpredictable weather patterns are making it even harder for already-struggling farmers to grow enough food to feed their children. If left unchecked, extreme hunger will lead to health complications like malnutrition, permanently damaging the brain and physical development. With your help, World Vision will be able to feed hungry children through feeding programmes and increase farmers' yield with drought-resistant seeds, better quality tools and training. You will also support the formation of farming co-operatives, which empowers local communities to work together for their sustainable development.
