This May 2026, we'll be heading to Zambia, Sioma and Musosolokwe!

Join us this May 2026 for a SPECIAL Child Sponsorship and Global 6K for Water Supporter Trip to Zambia - Sioma and Musosolokwe!

This trip is a meaningful one; we’ll visit Musosolokwe to celebrate 15 years of World Vision's impact in the community through the support from child sponsors as the programme reaches maturity. We will then travel to Sioma, where World Vision has just begun our intervention work to uplift lives from poverty in this new Area Programme to explore how you can continue making a difference in the lives of children through World Vision’s new Area Programme in Zambia.

Experience the impact of your giving in Musosolokwe as we:

  1. Visit WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) projects that bring clean, safe water closer to children and communities.
  2. Visit local health facility and meet mothers who have benefitted from life-saving maternal health and child nutritional training
  3. Hear first-hand stories of transformation from savings group members whose livelihoods have been strengthened
  4. Visit schools and engage with students to hear how World Vision has supported their education and growth
  5. Meet child marriage survivors and members of child protection club to understand how the community is safeguarding children
  6. Spend a meaningful time with your sponsored child and their family over lunch, conversations and games. This is an opportunity to personally celebrate how far your child has progressed with your support and encourage them for their future ahead as the area programme comes to a close upon maturity in 2025.

Visit children in Sioma, our new Area Programme in Zambia

  1. Visit schools to understand the current learning environment and water and sanitation challenges children face. Walk in the shoes of children who walk long distances for water and understand the difference that clean water near their homes will make in their lives
  2. Meet vulnerable families to gain insights into the realities of liveilhood and food security.
  3. Meet your sponsored child and their family over lunch and games

(P/S: Non-World Vision donors are welcome — invite your friends and family to join this meaningful journey and find out more about the impact of World Vision's work!)
