This September 2025, we'll be heading to Dornod, Mongolia

Join us on an inspiring journey to Mongolia and witness the transformative impact of Child Sponsorship on Dornod’s children and communities.   

Here’s what’s in store: 

  • Visit a child development club 

  • Visit a local kindergarten supporting children with disabilities 

  • Visit a Most Vulnerable Family household

  •  Experience a day in the life of a herder’s family 

  • Spend quality time with your sponsored child and their family

Trip Details

Destination: Dornod, Mongolia

Date: 6-13 September 2025

Trip Fee: 1260 SGD  (Covers land transport, accommodation and meals)*

No of Pax: 20 pax

*International return flights from Singapore to Monoglia and travel insurance are excluded from the trip fee.

The trip itinerary will include: 

Day 1: 6 September 2025

  • Night Flight from Singapore to Ulaanbaatar (Transit in Beijing) 

Day 2: 7 September 2025

  • Arrive in Ulaanbaatar 
  • Check into hotel In Ulaanbaatar for dinner and rest 
     

Day 3: 8 September 2025 

  • Check out of Ulaanbaatar Hotel 

  • Land travel to Dornod Area Programme (12 hours) 

  • Check into hotel in Dornod 

Day 4: 9 September 2025

  • Visit local kindergarten for children with disabilities 

  • Visit child development club  

  • Visit Most Vulnerable Family household in the ger district 
     

Day 5: 10 September 2025 

  • Visit Water and Sanitation needs in the Dormitory

  • Visit herder vulnerable family to understand their living conditions 
     

Day 6: 11 September 2025

  • Interaction with sponsored children and their families with lunch and games 

  • Visit a youth health centre that protects the well-being of youth through preventive education 

  • Build a Mongolian ger for families without a home  

 

Day 7: 12 September 2025 

  • Check out of hotel

  • Travel back to Ulaanbaatar by land (12 hours road travel)  

  • Check into hotel In Ulaanbaatar 

 

Day 8: 13 September 2025

  • Check out of Ulaanbatar hotel 

  • Flight back to Singapore 

  • Home Sweet Home  

Travel Advisory

Please be informed that this trip will involve extended land travel periods, with individual journeys lasting up over 10 hours. Participants are advised to assess their physical health and ability to remain seated for prolonged durations. 

For anyone with pre-existing health conditions, please seek your doctor’s advice before signing up. 
 

Trip slots are limited to 20 pax ONLY. If you would like to join us, please sign up and pay the trip fee before 19 June 2025.  

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Your trip slot is confirmed upon payment.   

Kindly note that international air flight tickets and travel insurance are excluded from the trip fee. 
 
Flight tickets, travel insurance and visa (if applicable) are to be purchased by the tripper individually.   
 
We will be sharing the recommended flight details after trip confirmation on 19 June 2025 
  
There will be a compulsory pre-trip briefing on 8 July 2025 over ZOOM for all participants. More details of the trip briefing will follow after your registration.

Please note that visas/police checks may be required. If you are not holding a Singapore passport, please do check with your embassy if a visa/special permit is required.
