Role Overview
World Vision Singapore is seeking a skilled Website Developer to support the migration of our existing website into the latest version of its Content Management System (CMS) - Drupal 10. The successful candidate will work closely with the IT, Marketing-Creatives, Supporter Engagement, and External Web Development teams for a period of 8 months to implement and populate wireframes, recreate existing website pages, and ensure the new site is robust and user-friendly. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless transition to a modern, secure, and high-performing digital platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Wireframe Design and Implementation:
Design, build, and iterate website wireframes and pages based on detailed specifications from cross-functional teams. This includes both creating new wireframes and translating them into functional, responsive pages that accurately reflect the intended visual hierarchy and information architecture. Ensure strict consistency with the design system and established UI patterns, prioritise clarity, usability, and accessibility, and collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout the process to refine and optimise the user experience. - Content Migration & Page Recreation: Recreate and migrate all existing pages, content types, and features to the latest version of the CMS, ensuring content integrity, strict adherence to the design system, and proper use of Flowbite components for a consistent, accessible, and high-quality user experience.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with IT, Marketing-Creatives, Supporter Engagement, and External Web Development teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and deliver solutions that meet organisational needs.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of migration processes, customisations, and configurations for future reference and team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in website front-end technologies - HTML, CSS, SASS/SCSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and Drupal/Twig theming.
- Proven experience in developing and migrating CMS-based websites.
- Experience with the Drupal platform will be a strong advantage.
- Ability to translate wireframes and creative briefs into fully functional web pages.
- Familiarity with responsive design and accessibility standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Key Deliverables
- A fully functional Drupal 10 website referencing the structure and content of the current Drupal 7 site.
- All pages accurately recreated and populated as per provided wireframes and design system.
- Handover documentation and basic training for internal staff.
