Global 6K for Water is a worldwide movement of everyday people coming together for one life-changing purpose: to provide children with sustainable access to clean water.

In the most vulnerable communities, children walk an average of 6 kilometres every day - not to learn or play, but to fetch water that is often dirty, contaminated and unsafe.  

Global 6K for Water in Singapore is a virtual run, walk and hike event that invites participants to walk in the shoes of children who journey 6 KM every day for water. By running, walking or hiking 6km, participants raise awareness and rally support to help bring clean, safe water closer to home for vulnerable communities.  

 

Every step taken is one step closer to a future where no child has to walk for water again.

Every kilometre mattered. Every story shared moved hearts. Every dollar raised has made a difference.

The funds raised will help World Vision install water solutions such as boreholes, water tanks, and piped water systems in communities bringing clean water closer to homes, schools, and clinics.

*An impact report will be shared in 2026 to show how the funds raised are being translated into real change on the ground. This report will share stories, progress and the transformation made possible through collective action.
