Bangladesh - 8 safe learning hubs for 200 slum children

Dhaka’s slums are overcrowded, unsafe, and marked by poverty, unstable incomes, and limited access to education. Many children drop out of school because their families cannot afford learning material, or daily expenses. Without safe spaces, they spend long hours unsupervised on the streets.

These learning hubs will provide safe and structured spaces, reducing barriers to education and encouraging regular attendance. Each hub will offer literacy and numeracy support, life skills education, and mentorship that build resilience, positive identity, and confidence. The hubs will not only strengthen learning but also protect 200 children from gang involvement.
