Myanmar - Help widow start a home-based grocery shop

Empower women to build better futures for their families through microfinance. A small loan can help her start or grow a business, enabling her to feed her children, send them to school and save for the future. Once the loan is repaid, the fund supports another woman, creating a ripple effect of opportunity for other women in the community.

With the loss of her husband, Mrs Khaing has to shoulder the responsibility of taking care of her two children. She needs a loan to supplement the income from the farm through the setting up of a home-based grocery shop so that she can earn additional income to fund the education of her children.

The total loan required to set up a grocery shop to supplement her income is S$900.

Microfinance gifts multiply 2.75 times in impact.
