Myanmar - Rebuild flood hit farm to support children's education

Empower women to build better futures for their families through microfinance. A small loan can help her start or grow a business, enabling her to feed her children, send them to school and save for the future. Once the loan is repaid, the fund supports another woman, creating a ripple effect of opportunity for other women in the community.
Ms Htikie's crops were damaged after a severe flood devastated her village in Myanmar. With insufficient savings, she is not able to begin the next planting season. She needs to take a loan to purchase essential farming supplies and recover her livelihood so that her children and grandchildren can continue schooling.
The total loan needed to rebuild her livelihood is S$2,700.
