Thank you for your interest in joining our trips!

Opportunities to witness the work, progress and impact that our programmes have for our beneficiaries

To explain it briefly, trips are opportunities for our supporters to experience and witness the work, progress and impact of our programmes that are implemented by our field staff. It is also a chance to appreciate the differences our work has made to the communities (our beneficiaries) and understand how the impact could be sustained even beyond our programme period!

Should there be any force majeure event in the country we are visiting that prevents World Vision from going ahead with the trip, trippers will be refunded the trip cost (excluding flights) in full.

The funds you donate will support World Vision’s Middle East Emergency Appeal. This includes:

  • delivering hot meals, food kits and cash assistance so families can eat;
  • helping repair schools and supporting students' learning;
  • strengthening mental health services
  • building health and safety in communities by strengthening clinics and providing fire-fighting equipment; and
  • enabling access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene needs.

What’s happening in Middle East?

For children in conflict-affected areas of the Middle East, the sounds of armed violence have become a tragic regular reality. Schools that once provided hope and stability are now closed, with classrooms turned into makeshift shelters. Thousands of displaced families face uncertainty every day.

For Child Sponsorship, why does the monthly amount vary in different countries?

Submitted by 000209669 on

One of the best things about child sponsorship is that it is a way in which people with average income can be involved in development work. Therefore, the monthly sponsorship rate is decided based on the country’s level of income and cost of living. In countries where the sponsorship rate is set at a lower level, it means support from more sponsors would be needed so that the funds required to achieve the development goals in the community can be raised.
