Easter is a celebration of new life made possible through Jesus Christ. It is the miracle that catapults our faith, giving us new meaning. But what comes next? How does Jesus call us to live in light of His sacrifice?

At the Youth For Change Conference, we got to sit next to humanitarian and development workers and annoy them with a dozen or so questions — even then, we only scratched the surface of their world. They deal with the most complex issues hindering life and happiness around the world, and for several days they were ours to pester and blew our minds.

This year marks seven years since violence erupted in Syria. Since then, more than 5.5 million Syrians have fled the country, and half of them are children. Another six million have left their homes in search of safer spaces in Syria. More than 13 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance inside Syria.

We were up in the mountains of Nepal, 1,200 meters above sea level, literally in the middle of nowhere. This boy was still able to make a digger out of scavenged materials. Even adding a system made out of strings to control it. He said his dream was to become an engineer.

She showed up unannounced, with a bouquet of roses and a card... I hope that my visit to Vietnam has impacted her life like how it has impacted mine.
