Vocational training for 60 at-risk youths

For many young people growing up in the slums of Dhaka, Bangladesh, finishing school often isn't an option, and without a skillset to fall back on, the road ahead can feel dangerously narrow, some pulled toward risky, unstable work just to get by.

This gift offers 60 at risk-youths a different way forward: hands-on training in skills like beauty services, tailoring, electrical work, and automotive repair, paired with real job placement once training is complete. For a young person who's had few chances handed to them, learning a skill means something they can rely on for years to come for a steady income, a sense of purpose, and an opportunity to return to education. This gift doesn't just teach a skill, it opens a door that poverty had long kept closed.
