A year of home rehab for children with disabilities

For children with disabilities living in rural China, rehabilitation services are far from home and costly to reach. Without regular support, children may miss opportunities to strengthen their mobility, communication and cognitive development, as well as their ability to participate in everyday life.

This gift brings rehabilitation into the home. Through hands-on coaching, parents and family members will gain practical rehabilitation and caregiving skills that can be incorporated into the child’s daily routine. Caregiver support groups and parent-child activities will also give families opportunities to connect, share experiences and encourage one another, helping caregivers be more confident in supporting their child’s development.
