Maintain sanitation facilities for 1,800 Rohingya refugees

On Bhasan Char, a remote island far from the mainland, more than 65% of Rohingya refugee households struggle with inadequate latrine access, a daily challenge made harder by the island's isolation, where getting materials and support to fix what's broken isn't easy. For children especially, that means greater exposure to illness and less privacy and safety in daily life.

This gift repairs and maintains communal latrines and bath facilities for 1,800 Rohingya refugees, restoring something as simple, and as essential, as a safe place to wash and go to the bathroom. For families already living with so much uncertainty, this gift offers a small but meaningful measure of comfort, health, and dignity.
