Every mother wants her child to grow up strong and healthy, but in Timor-Leste, many mothers do not have the necessary guidance and knowledge they need for infant feeding and care. Knowing when to start breastfeeding, what foods help a baby grow, or how to spot early signs of illness can make a difference for the children's well-being and development.

This gift brings that guidance directly to 90 mothers, giving them the confidence and skills to nourish and care for their babies well. Armed with the right knowledge, a mother becomes her child's first and strongest line of defence against malnutrition, raising healthier, happier babies who grow up thriving.
