This January 2027, we'll be heading to the Son Tra Area Development Programme (ADP) in Vietnam!
Come and see the progress that Son Tra ADP has made in the last 12 years, and the impact you have made as a child sponsor. Together, we will witness how children, families and the wider community have gained the skills and resources to build a stronger future, celebrate all that the area development programme has achieved, and encourage them as they continue their journey. As you spend time with the children, families, and their community, your presence will be a powerful reminder that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.
Highlights of the trip include:
- Meet your sponsored child(ren) and engage in activities and games with them as you hear first-hand how Child Sponsorship has made a difference in their lives.
- Hear from youth at an IMPACT+ club session on how they have built their confidence and understanding on basic child rights, and how they have been equipped to protect themselves from harm.
- Witness the transformation in families as parents share how they have learnt to create a healthy, loving home environment to nurture and raise their children
- Try your hand at fishing with local families and learn how World Vision has helped these families gain the skills and resources they need to sustain their livelihoods.
- Hear how families have been equipped to prepare against natural disasters.
- Participate in Vietnamese cultural activities including making spring rolls and traditional cakes with families
Trip Details:
Date: 11 to 15 January 2027
Total Slots Available: 20 pax
Trip Fee: S$500 (includes land transport, accommodation and meals) for twin-sharing rooms
An additional $100 will be required for the option of a single room.
International air flights and travel insurance are excluded from the trip fee and are to be purchased by the tripper individually based on the recommended flight. We will share the recommended flight details when we have met the minimum of 10 pax to confirm the trip.

Registration Details:
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
You will be required to login to your World Vision account to complete the registration for the trip. A confirmation email with the trip briefing details will be sent to you upon completion of registration. Your trip slot is confirmed upon payment.
