Hygiene kits for 360 children living in slums

In crowded urban slums in Dhaka, Bangladesh, disease spreads easily, and something as ordinary as a bar of soap can be the difference between a child staying healthy and falling seriously ill. Studies show handwashing with soap alone can cut the risk of diarrhea, one of the leading causes of childhood illness and death, nearly in half. Yet for many families here they lack basic hygiene items.

This gift provides hygiene kits to 360 slum and street children, giving them a daily defence against illnesses that are preventable.
