Guest Speaker: Clynton Beukes, World Vision Director, Fragile Context Programming and Peacebuilding
Dr Clynton Beukes is the Director of Fragile Contexts Programming and Peacebuilding for World Vision International. He provides global leadership on how World Vision supports children and communities affected by conflict, fragility, and displacement, helping programmes respond to immediate needs while strengthening resilience, social cohesion, and prospects for lasting peace. He also leads World Vision’s external engagement on the Humanitarian–Development–Peace Nexus. Previously, Clynton served for four years as Program Director for World Vision’s Syria Response, overseeing field operations and programme quality across Jordan, Syria, and Türkiye. He has also held leadership and programme quality roles in Lebanon, Papua New Guinea, and Myanmar, bringing more than twelve years of experience across humanitarian response, international development, and peacebuilding.
