Position Purpose

Relationship Management & Donor Engagement

In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with major donors, corporate partners, and suitable organizations to garner substantial financial support for World Vision's transformative ministry and child-focused development programs.

You will lead the design and implementation of comprehensive resource development strategies that align with World Vision's mission to transform lives and create sustainable impact in vulnerable communities. This position requires a visionary leader who can drive partnership development, donor cultivation, and organizational growth while maintaining the highest standards of stewardship and donor relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive Resource Development Strategy aligned with organizational goals and market opportunities
  • Donor Relationship Management: Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with major donors and high-potential corporate partners across Singapore and the region
  • Partnership Development: Build strategic partnerships with organizations, foundations, and government agencies to expand funding sources and programmatic reach
  • Revenue Generation: Set and achieve ambitious fundraising targets while maintaining quality donor relationships and stewardship standards
  • Proposal Development: Lead the creation of compelling funding proposals, reports, and presentations that clearly communicate program impact and funding needs
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of resource development professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Donor Stewardship: Ensure excellent donor communication, recognition programs, and impact reporting to build long-term relationships and loyalty
  • Program Alignment: Collaborate with program teams to ensure resource development efforts support organizational priorities and strategic initiatives
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze fundraising metrics, donor trends, and program performance to inform strategy refinement
Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
  • Minimum 8-10 years of proven experience in resource development, fundraising, or donor relations
  • At least 3-5 years of leadership or management experience leading teams
  • Track record of successfully securing major donations and corporate sponsorships
  • Experience in the nonprofit or NGO sector highly preferred

  • Certification in fundraising (CFRE) or nonprofit management
  • MBA or advanced degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field
  • Experience with CRM systems and donor database management
