World Vision Singapore Youth Ambassador Programme

The Youth Ambassador Programme (YAP) is designed to raise champions and advocates for World Vision, and to empower youths to become change-agents.

By exposing youths in Singapore to the work done by World Vision and the realities of poverty, YAP hopes to garner and raise youths who are not only compassionate about humanitarian issues but who are also seeking opportunities to make positive changes in the world.

YAP seeks to:

  • Serve as a bridge, connecting World Vision to the youths in Singapore
  • To instill a spirit of volunteerism and a heart of compassion in youths
  • To expose youths to the realities of poverty, thereby encouraging them to partake in or spearhead meaningful projects that will benefit the community
  • To empower youths to reach their full potential and to live life in all its fullness

As a Youth Ambassador, you will:

  • Promote active involvement in community service among your peers
  • Plan an overseas community work trip to one of World Vision Singapore’s supported communities and projects
  • Conduct talks in schools to share about the work of World Vision
  • Participate actively in activities organised by World Vision
  • Spearhead new initiatives
