The Communications Team

What I do in WV: I write and write and write and write... and talk and talk and talk and talk everyday. 

What I enjoy: The chance to do my little part to help needy children and tell people about life beyond the waters of Singapore. It is so fulfilling to know that after a hard day's work, someone's life is changed and a suffering child is saved

What I do in WV: I build bridges with corporations to explore/execute CSR initiatives. I also help to increase awareness of the work that World Vision does to various media and publicity platforms

What I enjoy: Meeting with different people and most importantly, being engaged in a meaningful job which impacts and changes the lives of many.

What I do in WV: I collaborate with educational institutions, social organisations, community groups and individuals who are interested in creating lasting change in the lives of children, families and communities living in poverty. I also spearhead the annual 30 HOUR FAMINE, an annual flagship campaign that is held all over the world to raise awareness and motivate individuals to take personal action to fight poverty and world hunger.

What I enjoy: Knowing that I'm in a place where I can make a difference; where I can help facilitate, motivate and educate others to think beyond themselves and act against poverty and injustice around the world. I enjoy collaborating with other like-minded individuals to engender greater compassion for those who are less fortunate and deprived of basic human needs. We are all God's children and we are all interconnected.

What I do in WV: As part of the Marketing Communications team, I write and speak to people about the poor children and families that World Vision is working with.  

What I enjoy: Being able to play my small small part in a ministry that seeks to follow Jesus Christ in walking with the vulnerable and the poor.

What I do in WV: I support the managers in the work that they do, helping frantically whenever and wherever the need arises. I also give school talks to raise awareness on the work that World Vision does, as well as write the e-newsletters that you get in your emails!

What I enjoy: Watching God unfold his grace through His abiding love, and using us all as vessels to reach out to those who need it, teaching us everyday, the value of the life that He has blessed us with so abundantly.

What I do in WV:I do mainly administrative work for WV's child's sponsorship program with the Donor Relations Team. 


What I enjoy: I enjoy printing the picture folders of sponsored children for our child sponsors. The faces of these children are beautiful and they remind me of the reason for the work that WV does: that is in demonstration of God's love for His people.

What I enjoy: At the end of every month/event, we are able to raise sufficient funds for the needy children who are the pillars of each country. Most of all, we have a very dedicated team of staff who are great as colleagues and friends.
