CONGRATULATIONS to all our campers for successfully completing the 30 HOUR FAMINE Camp 2009 on 5- 6 June! We are so proud of what you have done and accomplished!
You left your comfortable lives in Singapore to walk in the shoes of those living in impoverished communities.
You went without food for 30 straight hours as a show of solidarity and support towards those who go hungry daily due to poverty.
Most of all, you stepped up to make a difference in a world where more than a billion children are trapped in poverty; through your actions, you have helped and will continue to help provide hope and a brighter future for them.
Right now, we would like to encourage you to continue in your efforts to MAKE A DIFFERENCE, through the “I CAN. I WILL. Save a Child Online Pledging Campaign”.
Tell your friends and family about your experiences at the 30 HOUR FAMINE Camp 2009, and encourage them to pledge towards your virtual rice bowl. The donations pledged would make a real difference to the children living in the 14 communities that World Vision Singapore currently supports.
