We are very fortunate to live in Singapore, a country where most of our basic needs are met. Participating in the 30 HOUR FAMINE Camp 2009 and going without food for 30 straight hours will allow you to experience, first-hand, the hunger and starvation others from less privileged countries experience on a daily basis.

You will be confronted with the reality of poverty and injustice that still exists around the world, as you undergo various activities that will put you in the shoes of those who are much less privileged.

As a 30 HOUR FAMINE Camp 2009 participant, not only will you be part of the global movement against poverty, you will also have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of starving children around the world.
