Love Loaf

CHANGE HEARTS AS YOU CHANGE LIVES

How you can make a difference. The Love Loaf is a free, simple-to-use programme that you can help change lives for hundreds – even thousands – of hurting and impoverished children and their communities. The Love Loaf is a small plastic coin box shaped like a loaf of bread to symbolise bread of life for children and their families in need.

Children are the focus of World Vision’s caring ministry since 1950. Today, there are over 50 million children in many countries who are living in fear of poverty and hunger. These children lack basic needs like education, health care, adequate food, clean water and even proper housing.

You can put a Love Loaf in the office, home or school and fill it with loose change. After you have filled the Love Loaf or after two months, please return the Love Loaf to World Vision:

What is Love Loaf?

Love Loaf is a World Vision programme that provides a powerful way for individuals, groups, and families to grow in and live out their faith together by responding to needs in a hurting world. It is our hope that by participating in Love Loaf, churches, schools, families, and groups will gain a greater awareness of the suffering that takes place in many parts of the world and will be inspired to do what they can to make a difference in the lives of others. The Love Loaf programme was first started in 1973 by World Vision United States and over the years, it has spread to other entities in the World Vision Partnership.
