Visionfest 2017: The Queen of Katwe

“Queen of Katwe” is based on the vibrant true story of a young girl from the streets of rural Uganda whose world rapidly changes when she is introduced to the game of chess, and, as a result of the support she receives from her family and community, is instilled with the confidence and determination she needs to pursue her dream of becoming an international chess champion.

World Vision’s VisionFest 2017 brings you the exclusive screening of “Queen of Katwe”, an inspiring movie that delves into the issue of poverty and reminds us to dream big, no matter the circumstances. Invite your family and friends, treat yourselves to this award-winning Disney film and learn more about World’s Vision’s efforts in championing education as a tool to eradicate poverty and transform lives around the world effectively.

Registration fees will go towards educational projects in the communities that World Vision supports. Seats will be assigned to you in the area you have selected.

Directions to Nexus Auditorium

The Nexus Auditorium is situated in the heart of Singapore’s well-known Orchard Road. It is between 2 MRT stations, Dhoby Ghaut and Somerset.

Taxi Stand is situated at Centre Point Shopping Centre that is just opposite The Nexus Auditorium.
