All the children assisted through World Vision’s programmes are safe. None of our Area Development programmes were affected in the earthquake.

Clarification: Sunday Times Report, 25 May 2008

The Sunday Times (25 May 2008) published a donation tally table accompanying the article entitled “Twin tragedies: S’poreans chip in $23m” which featured World Vision Singapore. It was reported that World Vision Singapore is not conducting a donation drive for China. We have sent a response to the Straits Times to correct the statement.

Join MediaCorp to build "A School for the Children"

MediaCorp has launched a nationwide radio campaign in support of World Vision Singapore to build a school in Shaanxi – one of the heavily affected areas during the Sichuan earthquake. Called "A School for the Children", this campaign will run from August 4 to September 14, 2008 and will involve all 12 of MediaCorp’s radio stations actively appealing for support.
