Meet Davith, the 9-year-old girl from Cambodia featured on our Peace, Hope & Love: Gift Catalogue 2025/26. Her story is a small glimpse of what peace, hope and love can look like for a child when a community begins to change.

On 21 October 2025, Secondary students from Methodist Girls’ School (MGS), participated in One Day Without Shoes by World Vision, which aimed to raise awareness about millions of children living without proper footwear.

On 7 September 2025, 30 Hour Famine returned as a cozy and intimate rendition with secondary and pre-tertiary students gathered, experiencing a glimpse of what life is like for millions of children and their families who have been forced to leave their homes due to conflict. 

In July 2025, a team of 18 SMU youths embarked on a two-week YEP service learning trip to Son Trà, Vietnam, where they taught secondary school students, painted a community house and experienced Vietnamese culture.

His story is a testament to the transformative power of compassion, opportunity, and the belief that every child deserves a whole, meaningful childhood.
