School Meals
Every day, children in vulnerable communities go to school on an empty stomach. Not by choice, but because poverty and food insecurity mean there is often not enough to eat at home. Hunger follows children into classroom, making them too weak to learn, to keep up and pushes them out of school too soon.
School meals can change that.
With your support, we seek to provide 1,000 children in Cambodia and Zambia with school meals this year.
Only 27% of children* in low-income countries receive school meals while the global hunger crisis continues to spiral out of control.
