Based solely on the country she is born in and the family she is born into, the life of a vulnerable girl is carved with daily hurdles. Circumstances in her world limit her from becoming the woman she can be – a strong, fearless and independent trailblazer.
Poverty causes her to step into a paddy field rather than a classroom. Powerless against cultural norms and seen as a liability to her family, she is forced to marry and have children before her time.
In conjunction with International Day of the Girl, World Vision will be hosting a free webinar to show what’s it like to be a girl growing up in such challenging environments. Join our panel of guests as they share more about why they have chosen to a voice for these vulnerable girls and why you should too.
Date: 10 Oct 2020 (Saturday)
Time: 10:30am – 12:00pm
*World Vision Singapore will email and SMS participants the Zoom link and password before the event. If you do not receive the details by 3:00pm (SGT) on 7 Oct 2020 (Wednesday), please check your spam/junk folder, or drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
