This role will make an impact through the management and execution of marketing events, trips and webinars that tell the stories of children and their communities lifted up out of poverty in some of the world’s toughest places. This role will also be engaged in building thought leadership of World Vision Singapore in tackling poverty issues with impact stories from the offices through media stories, blogs and webinars.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage and implement marketing events, webinars and trips (online and physical events) to raise awareness of World Vision’s intervention programmes in the communities we support. 
  • Collaborate with international offices across the various countries on itinerary and programme planning to create an insightful experience for existing and new supporters to better understand the impact of their support.  
  • Work with international offices to coordinate speaker logistics and curate programme content for events 
  • Publicise marketing events and trips to drive registration among sponsors and public through social media, influencer marketing and other digital marketing assets 
  • Proactively monitor event participation and engagement metrics 
  • Create, review and maintain blog and video content with the aim of raising awareness, inspire action, and elevating thought leadership.  
  • Proactively track page visits and analyse SEO effectiveness of blog content  
  • Proactively identify media opportunities through media stories and media trips to raise brand awareness 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Degree in Communications or Marketing with at least 3 years’ experience in Marketing and Events or related discipline.
  • Experience in marketing across multiple digital mediums including email marketing, influencer marketing and social media. 
  • Experience in events logistics planning with an eye for detail 
  • Possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills and is comfortable working in a collaborative and dynamic environment 
  • Familiarity with website content management, SEO and social media. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Basic knowledge in photo/video editing will be an added advantage.  
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills  
  • Excellent oral and written command of the English language is essential. An equal command of Mandarin is an added advantage for managing marketing content in Mandarin to reach Mandarin-speaking target audience.

Preferred:

  • Fundraising campaign experience with an understanding of the not-for-profit sector. 

Work Environment/Travel:

  • 20% international travel (when Covid-19 restrictions lifted).
