Individuals, churches and organizations who share our ethos are invited to partner with World Vision by linking to our website or utilizing resources supplied on this Web site to assist in raising awareness and funds for World Vision's global ministry. The following policies and procedures govern the use of these resources.

NOTE: Organizations and individuals desiring to raise funds on the Web on our behalf are subject to strict guidelines. Our written approval is required in advance for this purpose. For more information, send us your proposal by email.

World Vision is also committed to protecting the security, privacy, and dignity of our sponsored children and other beneficiaries, and we have very firm policies prohibiting any display of sponsored children's photos and other information related to specific sponsored children on the Internet without our express written consent. For more information on our child security policy, please click here

Please help! If you see sponsored children's photos or other information on a non-World Vision site, please click here to send us an email containing the URL (address) of the page.

Photo and Story Use Policy
Persons and organizations which share our ethos (our concern for the poor and particularly children) may reproduce photos or text contained on this Web site, provided they explicitly follow the instructions contained herein asserting World Vision's intellectual property rights over these resources. We forbid use of our photographs or stories for commercial purposes (for the purpose of gaining financially from use of the photograph or story); therefore in general we discourage sites whose purpose is primarily commercial from using our photographs or story resources. We also forbid use of our photographs or text for the purpose of raising funds for ANY entities other than World Vision and its subsidiaries, unless a written agreement of partnership exists between World Vision and the organization in question which permits such use.

All photos or text you use must be accompanied by the following statement in all applications: "Copyright 2006 World Vision Inc. All rights reserved. Used with permission. 6221-1040 http://www.worldvision.org.sg"

Permission to use our photographs or text is revocable at any time.

To download a photo for use, point at it with your mouse or other pointing device and click the right mouse button or equivalent. Your browser will cause a dialogue box to appear. One of the options should allow you to save the photo file to your hard disk.
