How Your Donation is Used

We are grateful you support World Vision and give generously because you believe your donation is used wisely, is accounted for, and channelled to benefit the poor children and their families.

World Vision is accountable to those whom we serve, to their communities, to our donors, and to our staff. As a Christian organisation, we are also accountable to God.

For financial accountability, we are audited by external and independent auditors i.e. Lo Hock Ling & Co. Certified Public Accountants for the Singapore Office. In FY2007, 81.4% of the donations received were disbursed to support 15 Area Development Programmes in 14 needy countries. Of the remaining 18.6%, (i) 9.6% is used for communication with our donors and public education, (ii) 9% for administration. Full details can be found in our Financial Report.

World Vision Singapore publishes our audited financial statements yearly in our Annual Reports. The most recent is the FY2007 Annual Report for the financial year ended Sep 2007. Full details can be found at our Annual Report.
