"He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honours God"
Proverbs 14:31

How can World Vision walk along side with your church in helping the less fortunate?

World Vision is an international partnership of Christians whose mission is to follow our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in working with the poor and oppressed to promote human transformation, seek justice and bear witness to the good news of the Kingdom of God.

Your church doesn't have to be a bystander to the events that impact our world. Your church can be a leader in enabling children and families to overcome adversities and realize their God-given potential.

6 year-old, Lay Eery, is praying to give thank to the Lord for the food and shelter He has given to her at World Vision Cambodia’s Bamboo Shoot Children Center.

World Vision wants to serve you by being your bridge to the world's poor. As your church's outreach extends to change the lives of people living in poverty, your congregation will be transformed as well. We encourage relationships between church communities and World Vision Singapore’s supported projects in Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Lesotho, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Khun Siam Muangsak, Elder and Executive Director of Personnel Department, The Church of Christ (CCT) in Thailand (previously a World Vision Thailand sponsored child) leads the congregation in worship at the opening of the new World Vision Centre for Development in Chiangrai, on January 7, 2006.  The centre will serve the congregational needs of CCT's Second District Church for training in the use of technology for sustainable livelihood.

What are the benefits of being a World Vision church partner?

When churches partner with World Vision, the whole church, rather than just an individual, becomes involved in mission to the poor. This blesses the people whom the ministry supports, and transforms the lives of the church community as they see the spiritual fruits of their labour.
