Tree of Life 2009

What is the Tree of Life?

Each year, World Vision Singapore brings to life a very special tree that aims to rescue vulnerable children with no hope for a brighter tomorrow.

The Tree of Life gives needy children a chance to break out of poverty. Coming alive only during Christmas, the Tree of Life allows you to come up close and personal with needy children who are awaiting sponsors. Come learn more about child sponsorship and choose a photo card of a child from Asia or Africa.

Practical, meaningful and life-changing gifts

While most of us look forward to Christmas presents and year-end bonuses, impoverished children and families around the world worry about not having enough to eat or affording medical care when they fall sick.

Addressing these basic needs, the Tree of Life also features practical and meaningful gifts for children and their communities. Gifts include food and agricultural items, farm animals, hygiene kits, back-to-school packs, healthcare, etc.

Dedicate your Christmas gift to someone special!

There are many unique gifts to choose from the Tree of Life and you can even dedicate a gift to someone special! Just ask any of our World Vision’s staff or volunteers about our specially created Christmas Dedication Cards

Visit the Tree of Life and make a real difference this Christmas!

So reach out to a child in desperate need this Christmas and offer him or her the gift of hope, joy and love. You can change a life for the better, and it doesn’t take much!

Hurry down to our Tree of Life booths at Marina Square or Chevron House today!
