World Vision offers two types of education projects: formal and non-formal. Formal education takes place in a school setting and provides curriculum for children at all levels. Non-formal education is community-based and includes adult learning, children and youth life skills, as well as other experiences that integrate topics such as HIV/AIDS awareness.
Some of our priorities are:
- Promoting early childhood and primary education, with emphasis on girls
- Strengthening community involvement in education
- Fostering environments for learning through partnerships and advocacy with communities, governments, universities, donors, and non-governmental organisations
How you can help?
