Gifts-in-kind

Welcome to World Vision Product Philanthropy web site. Here you will find information about the types of product we accept from corporations and learn how donated products are used to impact the lives of children.

An easy way to help
Gifts-in-Kind (GIK) are a company's first-quality, excess inventory donated to assist those in need. World Vision places GIK in the hands of millions of people in need each year. The benefits to corporate donors are both immediate and long-term (see below). The next time you look at your inventory, consider how your company can help save lives.

Benefits to your company

  • Additional Warehouse Space. The elimination of slow-moving inventory increases warehouse capacity and decreases administrative expenses.
  • Positive Public Relations. World Vision's experienced marketing staff is ready to help your organization maximize on public-relations opportunities to highlight your donation.
  • Philanthropic Involvement. Your partnership with World Vision provides a fitting channel for investing in the people and communities that contribute to your success.

Why donate to World Vision

  • Credibility. More than 50 years of international program experience, with almost 22,000 staff worldwide, ensures delivery of your donations to intended recipients.
  • Flexibility. With projects in nearly 100 countries, your product can be shipped to the geographic market that meets both your company's preferences and local needs.
  • Efficiency. From scheduling GIK pick-ups to processing documentation, our professional and courteous staff make each donation easy and time efficient.
  • Visibility. As an experienced global organization, our staff is able to meet your company's desire for media and public relations opportunities in Singapore and internationally.

World Vision's Corporate Philanthropy program (Gifts-in-Kind) does not accept used products of any kind. We also do not accept medicines, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, etc. from INDIVIDUALS - even if they have never been used.
