Do you know unclean water causes the deaths of more than 3.6 million people every year? That’s more people killed than war! Children are always the most vulnerable - water-borne illness is one of the leading cause of death in children under the age of 5.
Recognising the severity and urgency of this disaster, SK-II is raising awareness of the water crisis through its inaugural ‘LIVE THE LIFE YOU LOVE’ campaign and charity auction this festive season. 8 unique items by MediaCorp celebrities will be up for auction from 1 – 26 December 2011 at selected retailers.
In partnership with World Vision Singapore, 80% of all proceeds raised will go towards raising awareness of the water crisis among school children in Singapore while the remaining 20% will be channelled towards supporting children and communities in Asia affected by the crisis.
